Routt Catholic High School has been the benefactor of generous donations, primarily from individual estates or memorial gifts from family and friends establishing endowed accounts with the Routt Education Foundation to provide tuition support for students.

The Routt Education Foundation invests these gifts and the interest is returned to the school to provide tuition assistance to families who qualify. In addition to these need-based scholarships, there are merit or essay-based scholarships available.

Tuition assistance and scholarships are awarded in May.

Routt also participates in the Scrip program. Families may purchase “scrip” (pre-paid purchase cards for Jacksonville, Springfield and surrounding businesses) and a portion of the dollars spent on scrip are used as a credit to your tuition account.

Families may also claim the Education Expense Credit on Illinois tax forms to recover up to $500 of the expense of providing education. Tuition and fees are eligible expenses.
